Cut Grant. He's useless. I've been saying since training camp that it doesn't matter if a guy runs a 4.28 if he can't take a hit, and now he can't field a simple pitch. D-Rob or Marshall can get us the same "spark" that he does on kick returns, waving it off or taking it to the 20, same difference. Cut Grant and add depth somewhere else. He's the Alvis Whitted of running backs. Great speed, but he can't do the simple things that running backs are supposed to do.

I just dont know about the call. I know we have 3 backs ahead of him on the depth chart. Why wasn't either of those 3 out there? I know Gerhart isnt ideal outside... but really, why is the FOURTH string back ever in the game? Ever? Are you really this poorly conditioned on offense?

The D killed us.... That fumble didnt help by anymeans. The D not stopping the Bucs was just sad. Also as solid as Blake was today he got sacked 6 times.

Quote:We didn't seem to mind earlier in the game when Grant took a pitch for a 1st down. Did you call out Grant being on the field then? Honest question. Kudos if you did.
Crucial moments in the game, why would you give it to a UDFA rookie? The guy fumbled a couple games ago and recovered it on his own, but still... More importantly, why are we running to the left every down? Last week it was up the middle only and this week its the left. We can never have variety in the running game. Our line got bull-dozed backwards and he didn't even get a chance to protect it before getting nailed. I blame the line, coaches, and Grant all at the same time on that one.
