Quote:1.) non conference games dont count toward the title game.

2.) even a 2 loss sec champion probably makes it to the 4 spot.

3.) if they did that to founette in the second half do you really think were worried about dalvin cook?
2. I wouldn't bet on that this year.

3. I am. I loved the halftime defensive adjustments, but anytime you play someone like Fournette and Cook, there is always a huge threat.

Yes.
Fournette and cook are in two different classes.

As for the logjam of undefeated teams give it time.

Fournette is in his own class. Everyone knows that. Cook is in the next class with a bunch of others. He's still good enough to carry a team against most of the ACC trash.
I haven't checked since LSU played UF, but pre UF, Cook had actually faced much better opposition when it comes to run defense ranking than Fournette.  Fournette just looks like a freak when he runs because of his sheer size, kind of like AP, but Cook is amazing too.  His vision and ability to cut going full speed is insane; he also bounces off of defenders way more than he gets credit for, his lower body is VERY strong.  Watch his long TD run vs Louisville, it was insane.

You have to take into account the other teams when looking at those rankings. For example, BC has played Maine, Howard, Northern illinois and Wake. Obviously they're defensive numbers will look good at this point, even with a 3-4 record.
If you look at Fournette's opponents they really aren't all that impressive.  Not to take anything away from him, he's an amazing player, probably the heisman winner, but really the opposition he's faced isn't all that impressive either.

Judging by your name, I can understand your trolling... however it's completely ridiculous.

Fence post.

The stats paint this picture. It's silly to argue over who is better. They are both elite backs and definitely in the same class.

He also has a higher average yard per carry than fournette currently.

Yes I knew the stats you were pointing too. Exactly why I posted what I did.

Whether we agree or disagree, they're both good and will probably be good at the next level.
Here i come Atl, cant wait
All we need is one more win! The Gators control their destiny because no other SEC East team has a winning conference record. Vanderbilt is never a big test for us so for 2-3 weeks we will have nothing to play for.

What?  We have a playoff spot to play for.

Of course we need a lot of help to get that, so while waiting for the CFP rankings to be released, I am just thinking about the division title.

When was the last time a team started the season unranked and finished in the top 5? That would be crazy.
