He just didn't want anyone to know the truth. He was embrassed to be a mascot of a team that won't ever have a winning season again as long as Gus loosey Goosey Bradley is the HC.
Gus took his place so we actually got an upgrade.

You know this team's losing ways are starting to wear on fans when even Snowwolf is sitting on the gunwale with his legs dangling over the water. I can't blame the man. These weekly Sunday train wrecks are almost a disgrace. IF we win against Tampa, it will be a struggle. That's not progress.
