Snax, the first step is admitting you have a problem.
Wish me luck guys - I'm negotiating an instrument endorsement deal in a couple weeks. Free custom axe possibly in the future

Very nice guit-fiddle. Congrats.
I am so looking for a Gibson Les Paul Gold Top Studio for about a grand on the used market. Yeah, I see them all day on Ebay but I don't want to send a grand sight unseen to someone in California.
If anyone has one for sale LMK>

Good luck! You have to be pretty popular to get a guitar endorsement deal. I know a few guys who get stuff sent to them (stomp boxes, pickups, etc) because they make demo videos, but nobody who has a guitar endorsement.

There may be a company out there that would pay me to never hold their guitar in public.
Anyway - I still hope to upgrade my main axe for free.
Guitar deals are tough for sure. I know a number of guys with deals but most of them pay manufacturers cost. Not many get stuff free and in abundance.

Haha, I've said the same thing about some people that make demo videos. Guys that make a Mesa Dual Rectifier sound like a solid state Crate practice amp probably have Mesa promising them to send them money or gear if they delete their video.
But again, good luck. Free gear is great, especially if it is something you really use.

I've had a few. A Musicman 5-string was my fave.
