Lions fans must be as frustrated if not more than Jaguar fans after watching that game.  Seattle gave the Lions so many chances to win, but the Lions Offense blew it.

Yes 0-4, would normally mean they are out of the playoffs, but the NFC isn't that great all around this year. The 2-2 Rams are currently the 2nd Wild Card team.

 

They can turn it around, but they need to figure out what they offensively. Do they want to run Power or be West Coast. They need to pick one and go all in.

That can be debatable. They've played 3 out of 4 games on the road and 2 of them were in the playoffs last year. Their largest margin of defeat is 12 points. Their record is worse, but their roster is better.

Refs robbed the lions. That was a illegal knocking the ball out of the endzone by seattle LB.

Their schedule isn't too favorable for a turnaround though. The only games I'm seeing on their schedule that are "easy" are the Raiders, the Bears twice the 49ers and maybe the Rams and Eagles. That's 6 "gimme" games. Outlook not so good. They'll have to sweep the Vikings and win those "easy" games to have a chance of making the playoffs.

Just like the refs robbed Myers on the last fg.  The ball was just inside the fg post then it curved out.

I had never heard that "Batted ball rule." Players do that all the time and it is never called. Why is that even a rule?

They said to prevent a defensive player from throwing the ball out instead of trying to recover a fumble, it was playable meaning had he not done that another Lion couldve landed on it and been a Touchdown.

Goodell is asking the teams to come back to the field, the ball to be placed on the 6" line detroits ball.

It sure helps when your D-Line is affecting the QB on most plays.

It's hard to make plays from the pocket when you don't have one. Our OL just su.... When Wilson does get more than 0,5 seconds to throw he's usually a good pocket passer (see TD pass).

I get the logic behind it but I've never seen that before and didn't know that rule exists.

No they didn't. It was Calvin Johnson's fault for fumbling at the goal line. If he had kept the ball there would be no uncalled penalty by the linebacker.

Common sense dictates that a bad call by the refs took at the very least a field goal away from the Lions and a lot of clock (or timeouts) away from Seattle.

 

Johnson fumbling doesn't change that.

Man there have been some bad games on national TV this year.
