Players pace:
Bortles: 3984 yards (easily franchise) record along with 24 tds(I believe would be a record) and 12 ints. Looking at the numbers he is having a really nice season: 3984yds, 24tds, 12ints
Allen Robinson: 1,320 yrds 8tds
TJ yeldon: 1.036 yards (no tds yet)
Allen Hurns: 1,256yds 8 tds
Marcedes Lewis: 160yds 0 tds
Jaguars are 16th for total offensive yards (big improvement from last year)
31st in points per game: There is the reason for losing right here.
I must apologize for calling out Bortles because he is having a solid season. The team is moving the ball but not scoring points.
So we're losing because we're scoring less points than most teams?

By George....I think you're onto something.
Derrick Henry already has 9 TDs this year. Let's draft him in the offseason and reunite him with TJ.

On a day like today... This is top notch. Awesome.
It just amazes me. How in the world are we not getting in the end zone?
Yup we dont know how to score tds, we need Thomas, Lee and D-Rob to help
the improvements are there for the young players
And they should be 2-2 but a freak lousy kicker cost us
Make 1 kick and the narrative on this board would be way different

Has something to do with less spacing to work with, and clearly this team struggles in those situations. Lack of anticipation by the QB? Lack of feel by the WR's in finding soft spots in the coverage? Lack of imagination by the play caller in designing plays? Poor run blocking? All of the above?
Playcalling..............
GO JAGS!!

And a pinch of bad luck (just a pinch).
Last in targets/completions to TEs and last in offensive scoring. Lewis and Harbor were supposed to be heavily involved and haven't done anything.
We have two options in the redzone, ARob and Hurns. Nobody else is a threat and we abandon the run or give the ball to Gerfart at the worst possible time

Gerhart on the goal line makes sense.
Apparently Gus didn't learn anything from Pete's Super Bowl forfeiture. Run the ball. Quit trying to be cute and pass three times in a row against tight coverage then kick a FG

Another high draft pick on a RB ---- I think we have plenty of other issues to address 1st.(OT, DE, Safety)
Blake has disappeared twice in the second half.

Good Post. You're right, things do look better between the 20s. I recall struggling so bad just to get a 1st down.
Oh, I added Gerhert to your list.

Seems like Gus may be getting into his ear with his defensive (play not to lose) mentality .... probably emphasizes protecting the ball and let our D win the game.

I would have liked to see a QB bootleg with the option to hit the TE if the defender commits to Bortles.

Julius Thomas is going be a major factor in changing this circumstance.
Blake has no doubt been very solid for us this year, however he is missing his best weapon which we all know about. I do have to say the oline has really helped out this season too so far anyways.
