Well it's painfully obvious that it was time to let Scobee go.
Life of a kicker... send him to the glue factory
It isn't confidence he just isn't automatic like he used to be.
Seems like it still would have made sense just to kick it, missed kick or not, you have atleast a shot at ending the game instead of what just happened lol
To be fair, Vick has choked almost as much as Scobee in this game.

It is absolutely confidence.

I'm sure confidence is a big part of it.
Tucker is how scobee used to be. Ice in his veins.
Quote:I think this may be his last game as a Steeler..possibly ever..
Doubt it most of kicks he has missed were over 45 yards...no other kickers better than him out there
Most of this game is on tomlin. Bad game management all around.
game damn [BLEEP] up my pick em tomlin
Tomlin has rode the coat tail of Big Ben. He's not really a good head coach in my opinion.
Scobee will not have a job tomorrow.

If so coach who you replace him with
Scobee must hate Pittsburgh

Why are you defending him so hard? The guy is a shell of his former self. He is done.

Not defending him. He isn't as good as he used to be but Steelers gave up a sixth rounder for him because he is still an ok kicker. I was one of posters immediately after trade saying good call because he was missing field goals last year. Seriously who are you going to replace him with?
Quote:If Ravens win now Scobee will be blamed when it really now is Tomlin's fault for not going for it, twice. However if Scoby Doo had made either of the FG he missed it would not have mattered.
Josh Scobee single-footedly lost the game for Pittsburgh. It was not Mike Tomlin's fault the ball went wide left.
What's sad is this is the same guy who made a 59-yarder five years ago. JIm Nantz mentioned that kick.
I hope the Steelers sign Fat Randy next. He'd probably go all in for a couple of Primanti Bros sandwiches.
