Also saban has the same mindset as belichick when someone beats him or talks crap about his team. Look for bama to try and destroy everyone they play now.

Does anybody still think Ole Miss is not overrated? Top five teams don't get blown out in Gainesville. They looked awful here.

The Gators look like they should have been ranked all season now. It will be interesting to see how far they jump and Ole Miss falls.

LOL How about LSU being the highest ranked SEC team at #7? That is weird.

 

Someone try to explain why Utah moved up five spots for doing nothing. That is way too high for an idle team.

But they did beat Alabama. But I still would not rank Ole Miss higher than Alabama after seeing the Rebels get blown out here.

After this past weekend, I have a tough time thinking Ohio State is the best team after the near-loss vs. Indiana.  OSU was beat up front against an under-talented (in my opinion) defense; IU's D gave up 35 points v. WKU.  I wasn't expecting it to be that close.

I was not expecting that either. But the Buckeyes struggled against Hawaii and NIU before that, so I was not surprised. If I was a poll voter, OSU would not get my vote for the #1 ranking because of those three games.

 

Making matters worse for Ohio State is WR Corey Smith broke his leg and is out for the year. He will need surgery on it. I feel so bad for that guy. Hopefully OSU will be OK without him - as they always say, "next man up."
