makes sense for both teams

i would think theyd trade for a veteran wr first, but good get nonetheless.

Bit surprising but hope he does well, Ive always liked Allen.

Would a taken him for a late pick....but I'm an idiot.

Having a fire sale in Chicago. Traded Bostic to the pats for a 6th as well... Kinda surprising since he is a younger and a second round pick.

Is Allen better than what we have here?

He is old but still a solid player overall imo.

5.5 sacks since the start of last year. Sounds alot like what we already have.

I'd offer a late pick for Willie Young.

Not sure why the Panthers would want him. The guy isn't the same player he was and only has a few more seasons in him.

Seems like the Bears are having a fire sale.

Charles Johnson is hurt and Jared Allen is going to be filling in for him until he's healthy, then he's going to be the team's situational pass rusher.

 

It's really not that bad of a deal for a conditional pick

The Bears were trying to fit a square peg in a round hole with him in that defense. A very accomplished square peg that has been fitting himself in a square hole for a decade. Well worth a flyer IMO.

Sure why not. What's there to lose at this point. So tired of the Jags not being able to rush the QB.


We have been devoid of WR, QB, and pass rusher for sooooooo long. We have seen glimpses of WR. Glimpses of QB. I need to see a pass rusher. Please football Jesus. I don't care if he is young, old, black, green, male, female, other. Just someone who can consistently rush the passer.

Im with you on this. I really do not give a damn anymore. If he is 40 yrs old and has one leg give him a shot.

A six rounder seems like a no brainier to me.
