I've never seen the front office say anything like this...I've seen people on this board say that, but never anything from the organization...Shad Khan said himself in the London interviews that he really did not have a number of W's in mind, but as long as he could see progress he would remain patient

Gus has repeatedly said that he'd be judged on wins and losses this year.

link? I do remember him saying wins and losses are important too, but all I can recall hearing him say was that as long as we keep improving the wins will come

That's the cold hard truth here.  This team is still 2 years away.  The 3 year rebuild timetable was not realistic.

 

The 2001 (third year) Cleveland Browns went 7-9, with their 1st round pick from 2000 missing the entire year and their 1st round pick from 1999 missing nine games. They started with NOTHING in 1999. There's no excuse to do worse.
