Didn't open too many running lanes today, but only allowed 2 sacks after allowing none last week.
Opened zero running lanes.
I'm still not sure it is all bad run blocking. There are times he hits the hole with burst. But there are other times when he looks slow hitting the hole. That was the criticism of those who thought Yeldon a low round pick.

It's killing our offense, this team won't be able to sustain drives if it can't run the ball. Parnell and Linder are studs but the rest of the line can't generate a push in the run game, we don't have the maulers up front to run a power gap scheme. They may have to incorporate more zone

Haha exactly, this is the biggest problem with this offense, by far.

I agree. No running lanes at all. Yeldon is talented, but never has room to work with!
But the O-line is giving Bortles time to throw.

So why did he suck today? We complained about the O-line last year, well now it looks  a hell of a lot better. What now?

Bortles had plenty time to throw during that pick.  It was just a horrible pass and a horrible decision.
Drops continue to kill. Saw Robinson and Harbor both drop ones that could sustain drives and Grant had one flutter through his hands in the endzone. As much as people want to pout, Bortles DOES look better than last year.

That's funny because last year people were screaming for us to scrap the zone blocking.
Passing part is great but the running part is bad.

It's hard to say how big or small the holes were today without watching the All 22. I do remember one play in particular (the play that Alan Branch tackled Yeldon) where it looked like Yeldon had plenty of room to work past the line of scrimmage. Beadles of course got his butt kicked by Branch and so it was 0 or 1 yards only. I know the pass blocking has been pretty good the last couple of weeks but if the team is getting no push on run downs it is in DEEP trouble.

Yup.
Rich Gannon hates us. He was trying so hard to make us sound legit, then he became fed up. He said something has to change and receivers need to catch.

Bortles should have had 3 INTs today.  The Pats dropped a couple easy ones.

I would say the talent is okay with Linder (Great), Beadles (Good) and Wiz (average).  Young (below average) and Luke (worst) and Parnell (above average).  Marrone has done a great job at coaching, he's the best Oline coach in the NFL no argueing that.

Too bad the running & Passing hasnt been better though.

I saw that too. And i was literally screaming at the tv..." WHY ISN'T GRANT RUNNING THE DAMN BALL!"
The problem with guys like Grant, is that they are so fast they hit the hole before the running lanes can develop. I think Yeldon is better, but I'm concerned about him. I was never high on him and I am not convinced he's a good back.
