That's a damn good question. Most scouts and analysts in 2014 had him rated typically 2nd best to Johnny Manziel or Teddy Bridgewater coming out of college. I think with his size, arm strength and two years of starting experience he'd still be considered a top five quarterback coming out of college with this class. 

 

I'd rank him higher than Trubisky and Webb but behind guys like Watson and Mahomes. 

 

1. Patrick Mahomes

2. Deshaun Watson

3. Blake Bortles

4. Mitch Trubisky

5. Davis Webb

 

Still wouldn't draft either of these guys in RD1 though. I would have been happy with Khalil Mack that year but I was high on Mike Evans at WR. 

Gruden lost any credibility with me after he sang the praises of both Bortles and Bradley this past season.

He had every reason to sing praises about Bortles after the 2015 season. Anybody who watched us play knows he just regressed and has the ability to play great again.
