I know that this topic has kinda been thrown around enough, and it's kinda old news, but I'm just now reading about it in depth. Crazy how much better the Colts made out by getting Luck. Also, it's crazy how basically one injury and the removal of the read option from the Skins' playbook from 12 to 13 pretty much ended this guy. Fast forward to 2015 and he's not even practicing before the game with real receivers... I mean I never saw the guy as an all time great, but I definitely thought he would have a successful career if he could become more of a pocket passer. I feel bad for him, basically going from hero to bust. What is you guys' opinion on the whole thing? any aspect of RGlll or his situation
well my opinion was pretty much summed up here

but in summary.. overhyped undersized qb who probably should have position switched, fails to read defenses or put in effort to develop as a pocket passer. instead of scrambling to buy time to throw scrambles to run and avoids sliding takes unnecessary hits constantly. Thinks being a pocket passer means standing like a statue in the pocket instead of slight movements to the side to avoid rush. Wildly inaccurate when not throwing the 3 passes that made everyone believe he was a superstar his rookie year (Slant, wr screen, and Go).
Good armor, good athleticism, bad decision making, bad pocket movement
The curse of the Subway spokesperson. I hope Justin Tuck doesn't have a lot of laptops or white vans with no windows.
He'd be in the Hall of Fame if he learned how to slide. Too late now. Also his diva status did him no favors
