Quote:I live in WV and know exactly where that casino is located haha.

I have to say, that's the first time I've ever been in a Casino and been told a. to keep my voice down and b. Sorry sir, there's no smoking in here.
Wiz is the future. I heard Gus on the radio raving about him last night.

Im not sure I would really target Mack in the offseason. Of course if he does have a great season this year I might reconsider but I'd rather target other areas of need as I believe as it stands now Wiz has played well.

This may be the biggest tragedy of them all.
We may have a ton of cap space, but center is no longer the position we need to blow a large chunk of it on.  Remember we attempted to sign him to a huge contract and he would obviously not opt out of that contract just to sign for less in Jacksonville.  I think it would be a surprise if we targeted Mack in anyway this off season.

I think money will be spent at LB and possibly LT in the offseason. Remember, Blake is THE MAN and he will require a 1 billion dollar contract.

If the team is going to target Free Agents they had better be available meaning the team that holds their rights is willing to let them go because they can't afford them. The Buffalo Bills are in that situation for the 2016 season and it could force them to allow both Nigel Bradham - LB and Cordy Glenn - OLT to be become free agents.

If the Jags sign Nigel Bradham it would be to replace Poz on passing downs and to provide flexibility at the WLB position.

Has anyone thought of using Telvin Smith as a SS?

Cordy Glenn wants to get paid and that means most likely 7 to 9 Mil per season.

On the other hand, signing Cordy Glenn would allow the Jags to move Joeckel to OLG and allow the team to trade Zane Beadles. Beadles is making 5 Mil + to play OLG.

Haivng three OTs would protect the Jags from the injury bug and the two backup OGs (Shatley and Cann) would be insurance against injury at the OG position.

I think Doug Marrone will be the determining factor as to whether the Jags want to spend the money on Glenn or not.

Most of the other OLT's just won't see the open market.

BTW, the Jags have over 42 Mil in cap surplus this season, tops in all the NFL.

The team will need to spend some of that money next year.

Fortunately the Jags have quite a few Free Agents of their own.

My list if signees include:

1. Chad Henne - QB - need a reliable cost effective backup QB

2. Stefen Wieniewski - C - he has shown his value

3. Ryan Davis - DE - Looks to be worth resigning

4. Bernard Pierce - RB - as long as it is reasonable

5. Nic Jacobs - TE - the Jags will need a blocking TE with Marcedes Lewis leaving

6. Brian Anger - Punter - just don't over pay him

7. Sam Young - OT - in case the Jags don't sign Cordy Glenn or someone else to play the 3rd OT.
