I know that during his one good season in Philly, Nick Foles was thought to be their future. I always viewed him as mediocre, however I do feel that he is a better QB than Bradford. That being said, who do you think ended up with the better QB? after an impressive W at home vs. Seattle, the Rams looked very sloppy the following week versus a mediocre Redskins team. The Eagles need no explanation for their situation: they suck. Who's better off?
I would say the Rams got the better deal. Foles at this point in his career is probably a little more durable than Bradford while being about the same QB otherwise. Didn't the Rams also get a draft pick as well? Even if it's a late rounder it's looking like it's going to an early late rounder the way things are going in Philly.
I always said that was one of the worst trades I've ever seen and that St. Louis absolutely fleeced Philly.
I think Bradford could still be very good. I think Foles is about capped out. If Bradford stays healthy he could be their guy for the next five years.
Was it just a myth that the Eagles gave up a 2nd rounder and a 4th rounder also in the trade? This would seem like something important.

No not a myth.

The Rams beat the brakes off of the Eagles in that trade.
All depends. I think it's still too early on Bradford there, he's got so much rust to shake off, it may take half a season to see who he really is now.
This trade gets murky with all of the moves that Kelly made this past off-season to the point where I can't really discern what went down. Just seemed like the man went all mad scientist on his roster and this particular move was a reagent.
Bradford is pulling a Gabbert this year. He's so afraid to get hit.
Rams made out.
They received draft pick(s), a QB that at least can stay on the field, and dumped a contract of a guy they probably weren't going to keep.
The Rams. A team that makes great trades and has so little to show for it.
the iggles got Eric Rowe and Bradford
the rams got Foles and Donnel (OT)
they also received a 2nd rounder for 2016 which is yet to be seen who they get...
Bradford has looked like trash, Foles has looked average.
I don't follow the iggles close enough to know how Rowe is doing, same for Donnell and the Rams...
But looking at the mess that is Philly right now... can't say they won anything

I just remember Rowe getting toasted in Preseason... Now he doesn't play.
So much hype for the Eagles every year for nothing.

Can't really say I blame him

This makes it clear the rams got the better deal.
That said, I dont think Sam is as bad as some folks think but I do believe Chip is a bad fit in philly and have no faith in that team.
The Eagles got fleeced on the deal.
