I don't think anyone is blowing their tops yet. But seeing how injuries seem to bite us when we don't need the bite, I don't blame others for being down; without knowing the exacts yet. Remember Fowler? "Don't be upset guys, even though we haven't heard anything for a while, he could be ok".... The longer the specifics aren't specified usually is not good; thus the concern. Hopefully it turns out to be minor or nothing at all. But there is validity to being concerned.
GO JAGS!!
Quote:Tweet from Sam Kouvaris (@samsportsline) - Gus Bradley says Brandon Linder is 50-50 to go Sunday. If he can't go, it's Tyler Shatley or AJ Cann. Joeckel is 50-50 as well. #Jaguars

Ugh. How did Cann looking during TC/pre-season?

Like a rookie. Shatley would probably get the start with Cann backing up IMO.
Let's be honest, this game is a long shot anyway. Not having Linder probably takes the Jags from 15% to win to 14% to win, or something like that. If there is any question, I say have him sit and hopefully be ready for the Colts. That game is big.

I agree, as much as I hope we do well in NE the game that's really important will be the one against Indianapolis. Especially now that it appears to be a much closer game that it could have been 2 weeks ago.
Describing the injury to a group of reporters that included the Times-Union's Hays Carlyon, Linder said: “It was on a pass drill, I punched and it separated a little bit. [My rehab] is to get it moving to strengthen the muscles around it. It’s frustrating, but it’s all right. [Stuff] happens for a reason.”

Interesting that he says that he has never had an issue with his shoulder. My shoulder does that because the capsule is stretched out from dislocated shoulders. Could've been caused by a weight lifting injury?

Hey, every % counts. I'd prefer not to give the patriots any more of an edge than they already had. While we may not be expected to win, this is the NFL. Jags have done some amazing things since this franchise began.

I always thought separated and dislocated were the same. Hopefully, it doesn't become recurring.
Sounds to me like it's more of a pain issue right now and the 50/50 is based on how it feels Sunday morning.
Obviously the "rehab" is long term. He's not going to strengthen any surrounding muscles in 4 days. At least not to any significant levels.

Thinking 15% was a little generous to begin with...

Tape It well enough, he should be ok.
If the capsule is stretched out, simple isolation shoulder exercise can tighten it up. Sometimes, it requires surgery. Hopefully, Linder's isn't that serious

Didnt know the difference either until :

I ran into Linder by his boat at the marina and he said he was going to play.
