Whilst I was checking pff earlier I also found something very interesting about BB. These are his QB stats.
No pressure Drop Backs -20 Runs - 1 Attempts - 19 Completions - 11 Comp % -57.9 Yards- 113 YPA - 5.9 td- 1 int -0 sacks- 0 QB rating -92.7 pff rating- -2.3
Plays under pressure drop backs -14 runs -0 attempts-14 completions - 7 completions % -50.0 yards - 160 YPA -11.4 td-1 int-0 sacks-0 QB rating - 115.2 pff rating - 0.5
When not blitzed 23 0 23 11 47.8 161 7.0 0 0 0 71.1 -3.9
When blitzed 11 1 10 7 70.0 112 11.2 2 0 0 146.7 2.1
All Plays 34 1 33 18 54.5 273 8.3 2 0 0 102.2 -1.8
Sorry it hasn't copied across well, but as you can hopefully see from the stats bortles actually played better under pressure. His ability to extend plays whilst being blitzed almost always helps him find 1 on 1 Match ups or open receivers.
I find it very interesting and is a clear contrast to what we're used to.
