Man I'm stoked the Jags got the win today, but wanted to give props to Ryan Tannehill, that guy can flat out play. I think he's as good as Andrew Luck, doesn't get the credit he deserves nationally, he's a stud.
Yeah I've liked Ryan Tannehill for a while. Bortles is similar to him as well.
I think Tannehill sort of avoided the limelight because he took a couple years to get there, but he is pretty good with next to nothing at receiver.
I hope Bortles can reach his level.
He looked good today. He has some good receivers to work with. But a real dope for a head coach.
I don't know how much credit to give Tannehill, but he made our defensive line look worse than it is throughout the second half.
Jarvis Landry is the real deal as well.
That's why I'm not to concerned with the lack of sacks the past 2 weeks. Playing 2 mobile QBS like Newton and Tannehill you're not gonna sack them too much. After the fins first possession in the 2nd half, you could tell the D pinned their ears back and rattled him. He kept having to roll out and scramble. Nothing was developing down field.

Yeah, he is fun to watch. Amazing to think he, Beckham Jr and Jeremy Hill were on the same team.
He has a really good arm.
Tannehill was in Bortles' boat a couple years ago. Very inconsistent. Tannehill is developing into a good player.

He was the 2nd best second rounder from last years class on the field yesterday though

Jelani Jenkins can hit. He looked really good to me.
Ya he is a good player has pocket awareness actually scans the field and goes through progressions. Only Consistent downside I have seen from him game to game is an inability to hit those deep sideline passes
I didn't really rate him previously, but I thought he had a really good game. His pocket awareness seemed really good, and he was escaping pressure well and extending plays. Made some good decisions, and must have had a high completion rate. I can only remember 1 bad throw from him when he missed someone wide open after House (?) slipped and he overthrew it
Dude is about as accurate as it gets.
Saw some throws yesterday that really impressed me.
He gets a lot of flak for no reason. I think JagKick nailed it. He started slow in the league and took a few years to develop so he flew under the radar. People still see him as year 1 Tannehill. Most teams would love to have a QB of his caliber on their team.
I wonder how much of Tannehill's development is due to Philbin. A friend of mine who is a Green Bay fan told me that Aaron Rodgers absolutely loved having Philbin as his coach and gave a lot of credit to him for his performance.
Popeye's makes a mean red beans and rice.

i think Philbin takes a lot of flak for coaching the whole team but I bet it would set Tannehill back if he lost him as a coach
