Not to mention, this is about the Gators, not the Jags, so why exactly would you even mention that? Come on man, don't end up in that segment of ESPN. LOL
What are you doing on the boards still? I thought you were done? You got your Jacksonville Sharks season tickets?

Quote:I like Harris
But Grier could be good but will have to go throw growing pains that Harris already went thru, its a tough call
Isn't it about the future? Play the young guy and get him better for next year. It's an 8-4 season at best any how.

I kind of feel bad for Harris because I think that he has everything that you want in a college QB. He is athletic, can make plays out of the pocket, has a strong arm and makes the college throws. I think that he could be a really good QB.
Grier is special. When I look at Grier I see NFL traits. One of the most underrated attributes of the QB position is timing and the speed at which you play the game in the pocket (how quickly you get the ball out and go through your progression) Grier is different as far as taking his drop, hitting his back foot and then getting the ball to a receiver. On top of that he has the arm strength and he is NFL accurate (hitting the honey hole against cover two, keeping the ball in that one yard strip along the sideline on deep fade routes and hitting guys in stride on seem routes.) Also, the kid is sneaky athletic. The thing that he struggled with a little bit so far are free rushers.
I think Harris can be good, I think that Grier could be a in the greenroom waiting on his name to be called in the first ten picks.

This might be the shortest post you've ever made.

Lol so both Harris and Grier are amazing and this is why they are having such a hard time picking between the two while struggling with East Carolina? That was certainly a glowing review jj.

Nah they haven't showed up yet.

You're ditching the Sharks? Is it because they lost the arena league championship? I hear the patriots are looking for fans.

Quote:The difference between this situation and others is Grier/Harris are playing but then sitting for one or two drives. That has to mess with your consistency.
Most college teams who use two QBs have one passer and one option QB. The option QB usually only plays here and there.
Grier plays a lot more than Harris. It is not like they alternate quarterbacks all game long as you seem to be saying.

You said you were done with the Jags though. Was that just one of your childish tantrums? I just don't get someone who isn't a fan anymore spending time on a fan board.

I guess the sharks aren't up to his standards either. Maybe he should wait to see who wins the super bowl first each year and just ride that team until they lose. Bandwagoning sounds like so much fun!

They are both garbage. Golson > both of them. Sorry gator fans, Timbow is not walking through those doors.
5-7 no bowl game.

Tell me, do you actually believe any of the complete nonsense that your ridiculous fingers managed to somehow actually type? Just wondered.

You're literally telling me after starting off 3-0 that they won't manage to win but 2 more games the rest of the season? Please.
This thread is full of IQ levels I can't even begin to comprehend, and no I don't mean it in a good way.

Did you already forget your post about not being a fan and rooting for another team? Again, what are you still doing posting here?

Because Grier was still in the game after he got hurt, he obviously must be a lot better than Harris in the fourth quarter. There is no reason not to change quarterbacks when that happens and the backup is almost as good as the starter.

Hargreaves is really good. Him being on the field makes it a completely different defense.
Grier will come along. He's young and has a lot of talent. Coach Mac is good at developing quarterbacks too.
3-0 so far? I'll take it.
