Quote:His knees are 37.

Lees hamstring is 50 and Robinsons hands are 100. Your point?
Quote:Neither could Bryan Walters, but im sure you're happy with him.

Would Hakeem Nicks bring more to the table than Walters? He is a big body who has lost a step and cannot get separation. Walters at least has PR ability and can play the slot. Arguing who would be a better #5 WE is pretty silly, but I think Walters versatility makes his roster spot at the very least justifiable. All preseason he got open and caught the ball.

Please, tell me where i said we should bring Nicks in? All i mentioned was that Dallas was taking him in for a look because Bryant is out, and you all got your pantiens in a bunch. You are extremely sensitive.

Your statement about Walters and Nicks implies you feel Nicks would be a better option here. Sorry for making an assumption there. As far as being sensitive, I have no clue where you are getting that from. Apparently my statement on the versatility of our #5 WR and the deterioration of Nicks' game translates to something else through your filter. Maybe you're the one who's hypersensitive.
Do you realize every team works out players like this every week?

Not the Jags. We never work out anyone, ever. Apparently

Mission Accomplished !!
If they can find a veteran WR that can also play LT, I say "sign him".

No, you're the one who immediately thought i wanted Nicks here and wanted to argue about it. Little did you know, we agreed about it. I don't want Nicks here, i want to see what Robinson and Lee have to offer when they aren't injured and Bortles gets time in the pocket
Quote:From PFT: Dallas will..."spend part of Tuesday working out players in hopes of finding one to provide that help. Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com reports that the team will bring in Hakeem Nicks, Nick Toon, Clyde Gates and Austin Pettis for workouts." How about our Jags, are we already good with our receivers?

It's not the WRs, it's the QB

Calmer than you are dude.

Im not the one assuming and wanting to argue.

Nobody's arguing.
"Agenda" is the most overused word on this board.

With Julius Thomas and lee on offense. And marks on defense. Thomas and marks will make big differences. Lee could very well be a significant factor. Offense suffered from an extreme lack of playmakers Sunday. Get Thomas in the game--someone the D will actually have to key in on here in Jax for the first time in ages--and Bortles will be able to move the ball around.
Dallas are competing for the division and playoffs.  They will do what it takes to keep moving towards those goals.  We the Jaguars are still rebuilding and they are going to work the younger guys.  They are not going to give the coaches any more material to work with.  As stated above "built".  This is the material they got and they need to show progress.

Honestly I think expectations got out of hand again with the preseason is no season play.  Vanilla defense and competent play are hallmarks of the preseason.

"non-pursuit"

lol

I heard Randy Moss wants to make a comeback

Uh,, the Jags did go after some "big-name" receiving help. They tried for Cobb (who most likely was staying in Green Bay anyway), and they landed Julius Thomas.

It's debatable whether they should've drafted Amari over Fowler. Both positions were a definite need. They went with the most pressing need IMO.

Injuries happen. Thomas and Fowler both being the Jags top additions going down is terrible luck.

It's not like the Jags didn't try to address anything.

Whats funny is the Jaguars had players in for a workout this week, just like every other NFL team. They are always a group of has-been's like Nicks or never-were's. It shouldn't but I get amazed how much names move the needle for some fans. Hakeem Nicks? Get out with that junk.
