Quote:True. But you know very well that Miami will be firing on all cylinders once they play us. Nobody has an off day against the Jags.
Oh darn, I forgot
This game is favorable for the Jaguars and a huge must win as the last home game before a four game road trip that might only land one win....

Gus needs to come out with everything he has in order to win this game and save face...

I expect a huge dose of TJ Yeldon!

Except the Browns.

In all seriousness though, we dominated Miami last year.

Yes we did. Hopefully Blake doesn't throw this game away like he did last year.

Miami kinda reminds me of our Jags in the Del Rio era. Loads of talent, especially along the D Line. But can't seem to escape mediocrity. I wish them well, they are after all my local team, but not this week.

Dominated them to a 27-13 loss.
did you even watch the game

Yes. What matters is the final score, which they won by 2 TDs.
I thought Yeldon was a bust a week ago?

On what planet is this game favorable for the Jags?

No no, it was ARob who was the bust a week ago ya moron.

We've always been at war with Eastasia.
We have a chance if someone breaks what should be a 8 yard gain and makes it a 60 yard TD.

Same thing on the receiving end of the spectrum.  We need someone to make big plays.

Otherwise, we have no chance.

Quote:One of the positives in week 1 was definitely TJ Yeldon. I'm convinced he could've run for 100 yards against Carolina if we kept giving him the ball.

He's very shifty, and reminds me a bit of Ladainian Tomlinson in the way he's able to create room for himself. Against Miami, I'm hoping the Jags turn the keys over to Yeldon and let him help move the offense rather than hope that Bortles can do it all.
Miami has a great pass rush but awful vs the run, Morris ran all over them, we better pound at them
Both RBs played well. The issue wasn't DRob, it was going away from the run.

The Jaguars Offense can be successful against this team, and the Defense should play even better against Miami than they did against Carolina.

Why? Miami has a real QB and real receivers.

Ouch low blow to Cam Newton, but I can't disagree with you according to stats of last year and this season he appears to be the better of the two.

The Panthers had Olsen which they had to game plan for along with the threat of Cam's ability to run at a moment notice, this week they only have to worry about stopping the WRs.  I think Sergio Brown will have a good game against Miami, I predict an INT.
Jarvis Landry took over their game against the Redskins to secure the win. I'm hoping the defense limits him and that the ARob takes this game a bit personally considering the Jaguars selected ARob two picks before Dolphins took Landry.

I was surprised by how well he performed. He didn't look good in his preseason performance.

Denard is still my dude though. I think they can be a good duo.

I think they can be a good duo, but I think Yeldon needs to be their bell cow. Let Denard come in to change up the pace on occasion, but going a couple series with Yeldon and then a couple series with Denard, etc, isn't giving Yeldon a chance to truly get going. Feed Yeldon and this offense should come alive provided their early jitters are over with so we stop seeing easy drops right in players' hands and missed FGs, etc.

That doesn't mean this is favorable for the Jags.

We are 6 point underdogs at home for a reason dude. We are going to need to be lights out.
