Quote:What if Sam Young did like George Constanza and did the opposite of everything he thought was right? Could be possibly be an elite LT?
I like this sentiment. Gus should be preaching "do the opposite" instead of "get better"
Quote:Imagine Kuechly laying the hammer against wr and rbs in a Jaguar uniform like he was against us. The Jags D would be nasty and mean.
We'd still lose
Quote:Bortles is no where close to where we thought he was.
Yeldon is being outplayed by Robinson.
ARob is a #2
We sorely need Thomas at TE.
The Joke may have played his last down as a Jag.
Clemons will get us 8.5 this year.
Our CBs are laughable.
The stinking Tacks are 1-0 while the Colts and Texans lost. What a blown opportunity by Gus.
The drops are an issue.
Lee, Marks, and Thomas need to get healthy, and fast. This team is in trouble.
In before go soil myself and feel free to find the building and jump, blah blah blah.
This team is awful. Myers is no where near kicker material. And why did Gus burn a timeout like that.
2 win team.....
I hate to say it, but you are absolutely right on this. This is the state of the Jaguars right now. This is another long season unless Bortles improves, and JT/Lee get back on the field. So demoralizing watching this team. Then Gus had the audacity to say ST played well? Really? Not qualified to coach even Wolfson.
Quote:Man Luke Kuechly is a nasty beast before he got hurt. We could have drafted him, but we drafted that bum Justin Blackmon.
Kuechly is going to have concussion problems. Blackmon hasn't had a single concussion since we TRADED UP and drafted him
Advantage: Blackmon
Quote:Sam Young can't sleep all week and having nightmares.
Sam Young proves why we need Joekel. It's further proof that people here go overboard. Joekel isn't perfect, but our line looked a lot better before Sam Young walked in the game.
Quote:This thread was necessary
Jagfan makes tons of necessary threads.
None of our TEs even caught a pass yesterday, and they didn't call any deep passes. Thomas and Lee will not make a huge difference if Bortles continues to get only a second to throw the ball and they keep calling 2 yard out routes.
The worst part about the outcome of this game isn't the fact that we lost, but the feeling that Bortles appears to have regressed. His locking on in the 1st game of his 2nd year is very concerning to me.
This doesn't concern me in the least. I only have the Jaguars winning 5 games this year. Blake played like a rookie. The defense played better then last year. The RB is new. The WR's are mediocre at best. The TE's were nowhere to be found. The coach looked like a confused tube of roll on deodorant, doing his best to hide the stink.
