They don't announce this until like 20 minutes before gametime, but let's see if we can nail it ahead of time. I'm thinking...

TE Julius Thomas

DT Sen'Derrick Marks

DE Andre Branch

WR Marquis Lee

RB Toby Gerhart

LB LaRoy Reynolds

OG Tyler Shatley

CB Nick Marshall

I bet Toby will play, but doubt Lee will.

Should Toby plays, who do you think is inactive instead?

This thread seems so useful.....

Pierce or Grant would be inactive before Toby.

Grant is set to be the KR in this game so he's active. I guess Pierce might be inactive instead, but keep in mind Toby is listed as questionable with his abdominal strain. More often than not since Gus has arrived, players listed as questionable end up being inactive for the game. I imagine Gus feeling he'd rather take his chances with Pierce than risk Toby further aggrevating his abdomen.

Thomas

Marks

Lee

Shately

Branch

Lotulelei

McCray

Toby or pierce

I missed on the last three. Reynolds, Shatley and Marshall are all active. In their place as inactive are Bowanko and Cann making for seven inactive. Why are there are not eight inactives?

Thomas, Lee, Marks....Sigh

Arguably our two best players out

I figured out why one seven.

It's been this way since the 2011 season. They got rid of the 3rd qb rule and allowed for a 46th active player. So for the past four seasons each team has only had 7 inactives. I'm just old and was thinking there was still 8.
