Anyone make any worthwhile money playing? Thinking of playing this year for the first time.
I played during the basketball season a bit and stayed about even in money won and lost. I'm also in one contest this week for football, so we'll see how it goes. If you treat it as entertainment with the occasional chance of winning a few bucks, you'll likely enjoy yourself.

Also I play on DraftKings. I chose it because the interface looked more intuitive than Fan Duel, but they seem pretty similar overall. I believe Fan Duel also has kickers in their contests while DraftKings has an additional WR. I think Fan Duel also locks all your players in at once while you can change your lineups on DraftKings until each player's game has started. The contest I'm in is PPR and from the looks of it, all contests are like that.

I didn't make any worthwhile money at my peak I had made about $60 on a $10 deposit, but eventually ended up netting $20 something.  Truthfully I wasn't completely sure FD wasn't a scam last year lulz, but I threw in $200 for this season.  I like the daily leagues a lot more than the season leagues I've been playing the past 13 years.
I won $10 on my first contest I paid for. And was 6 points away from another $6. Not bad for only betting $5
I bet a dollar and ended up winning 20 this week, so that was pretty cool lol

Draftkings was the route I went. I just started this year tho. but so far all profit, how long that lasts... IDK...

I just joined Hacker's league on Fan Duel.  It keeps saying that there is a practice round, but I can't find it.

Nobody I know has. A couple bucks here and there.
I play on Yahoo. I have won a few bucks and last a few. Basically end up even or slightly down. I'm starting to approach it a different way. Hoping it pays off. About half the participants just make their team based on player name. Of you can find that 3rd WR or flex guy who is cheap (Hurns come to mind), but he has a good week you can make a few bucks.
My friend got me started this last week and I actually enjoyed it. Both those companies are making a ton of $$$ though with these. With only 10 people with $1 buy in the total prize $ given out is like $7.80. So think about those large pools of people that buy in for $20 and they have 10,000 people sign up.

Well of course this had to happen.

Expect the non-regulated world of fantasy sports to end

Yeah, I played one $5 game at FanDuel and I'm debating pulling the rest of my money out.
