I tried it today, it is delicious and available at Publix for 6.99

A full order of Chiken tenders, which they chop up, on choice of Wheat, White, or 5 grain bread. With BBQ sauce, bacon and american cheese added, then toasted, and finally topped with coleslaw.

It's huge!,

It is huge, and it tastes pretty amazing. I was surprised at how much I liked it.

I'd get it without the cole slaw, but here in Tampa we don't get cool Jags sandwiches
Loved it, but it took a while. The lady wasn't sure how to make it since it was new.

It's like a tailgate on a sub.

Let me guess, In Tampa they have Crab Leg sandwiches....

In Tampa we have nothing, bc even people from Tampa hate the Bucs
Everything sounds good except the bbq sauce..

It works.

You can always add hot sauce.

IMO, the bbq sauce and the coleslaw sweeten up the fried chicken quite nicely.

Yeah, I love Publix subs and it was one of the better subs I've had. It was almost too much chicken.

Agree. Only "bad" thing I would say about it.

I ain't afraid of sayin' I was skeered when I saw the pile of strips before they chopped 'em. Had I known it was going to be stuffed that full, I would have only ordered the half. The half is plenty for lunch. I almost completely skipped dinner.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I would have opted for a "healthy" dose of mayo on it, but the BBQ sauce might make it kind of interesting. I just may have to try one.
Just not a big bbq sauce fan..

Edit.. I guess its not all bbq sauces. I do like the Carolina bbq sauce (mustard based). Just not a fan of the overly sweet stuff..
Glad to hear it's good. May get some on the way Sunday.

Some of the non-Jag guys I know were asking if it tasted like...Sadness, failure, etc lol

I'm the same way!! I don't like the sweet sauce at all!!
One of the best upgrades the Jags have made in recent years is from Winn Dixie to Publix

Eh. Maybe with regards to their deli's. As far as grocery shopping, Winn Dixie is closer and is where we get some of our basics (along with a "super Target").

I was actually more inclined to support Winn Dixie a few years back since they were locally owned.

I read Tampa has a sub

Buccaneers: spicy jerk turkey, chiptole gouda cheese, guacamole and mango peach salsa, with a nice local flavor by including "lightly crushed plantain chips.

Jaguars: chicken tenders, bacon, cheddar cheese, sweet cole slaw and barbecue mayonaisse
Dolphins: chipotle chicken, mayo, lettuce, mango peach salsa and fried plantains

Falcons: maple-flavored chicken tenders, bacon, mango peach preserves, sriracha mayonnaise

Which Winn Dixie do you go to? The ones I have been to are awful compared to Publix.

The only halfway decent one close to me (Baymeadows and 9A) closed a few years back.

It's on Roosevelt Blvd. near NAS Jax. Nearest Publix is either further north on Roosevelt or in Orange Park. They did some remodeling a few years back, and it's actually a pretty nice store.
This guy wrote a feature film about the sandwich
