Keep Poz, Lewis, and Davis, and send everyone else out the door.
And Scobee was a Shack guy

Quote:And Scobee was a Shack guy

Lewis as well
I double checked and they've all been mentioned. I'll go ahead and list them for clarity...

Originally signed under Gene Smith...

Active Roster:

DL/FB Tyson Alualu

P/H Bryan Anger

LEO Andre Branch

DE Ryan Davis

QB Chad Henne

OL Austin Pasztor

MLB Paul Posluszny

Suspended:

WR Justin Blackmon

Originally signed under Shack Harris...

TE Marcedes Lewis

It'll be interesting to see if Branch and Pasztor even make the roster. It would also be nice to see Henne replaced.

Blackmon probably does not play again, but of note, should he return he's still under contract for three more years no matter how long he remains out. Justin's signing bonus will be fully accounted for after this year, although the team may look for him to pay some of it back should he not play again. If he returns after this season he'll only count base salary and incentives against the cap.

Scratch Austin Pasztor.

With the vast majority of both starters and depth being Dave Caldwell players, I'd say that the rebuild is complete - I think the team says the same thing. This is the year we can start expecting wins, not just competition and progress and coulda-won games. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think we're going to make the playoffs - but I think that, after this season, we should feel good about our playoff prospects in 2016.
I agree totally... This year we should see major improvement

Notice the bulk of our team is from 2013-2015. This is why we aren't near ready for a playoff run. It does however signal strengthening as a team and franchise.

Jeremy Parnell was an UDFA originally? I didn't know that. Wow

He was a defensive player (defensive end I think) coming out of college, Dallas converted him to a tackle.
Great info

Yeah but Gene the mean had the checkbook last.

I don't think I had heard that! Pretty cool. Same thing with that kid Nowak who's with Seattle now.

Yup, he's their starting center now.
