My gut feeling is he gets an active spot.
I don't see him making the active roster unless he's an absolute beast in this game as he'd have to replace Walters for the #5 WR spot. That's no easy task. The vet understands route running, knows where the first down marker is, has legit speed, and catches everything thrown his way. He also knows special teams.
