Quote:Yeah, pretty much.

I like that approach.   There are many players that are truly not all time greats with a franchise but deserve to be remembered in a tangible way for everything that they accomplished for the team.
Quote:It would be more than tempting, he had 10 sacks last season and we had him in for a visit before we decided on Clemons last offseason.

Carolina should be calling his agent before he cleans out his locker in Buffalo.

I could see him outplaying Jonathan Stewart there.
Raiders have cut Trent Richardson.

He should def go to Carolina and start week 1
Well, Tebow didn't survive the cuts either...

NH3...

There must be a reason  for doing so. And if it isn't due to the salary cap, then he's only good enough to start on few NFL teams going forward. He'll be relegated to the back up position...

NH3...
I hate that Dave wont bring in a better back up than Henne when you have better ones out there.

Maybe he likes that Henne knows his place and doesn't threaten Blake's position. And as weak as Henne is on the field he's been with us for awhile and is probably a good team mentor. JMHO

Henne's value as back up QB is obviously off the field and in the locker room, meeting rooms and film rooms helping mentor Blake in his first and second seasons.

They are very aware of what will happen if Henne has to play.

They see him on the field just like the rest of us do.

There's more worse than better out there.

Surprised no one's called us for Henne.

Have you seen what's out there?

There are guys out there (Christian Ponder) that are making guys like Gabbert look "good."
Jeff Fisher has decided to keep his cuts a "secret":

Quote:Rams coach Jeff Fisher held a press conference shortly after the 4 p.m. ET deadline for teams to cut their rosters to 53 players on Saturday, but he wasn’t there to discuss the team’s roster moves.

Fisher said that the team wasn’t releasing their cuts, which have been made, because of the competitive advantage he believes it gives them when it comes to signing players back to the practice squad.

Sounds like the Los Angeles thing to do. Jk... but Fisher needs all the help he can get
