Major change happens much more often than not when a new football brass is in place.  No exception in Chicago, in 2015.

Surprise!

I didn't see it coming.  Especially, being that other than Kyle Fuller,  do the Bears really have another starting caliber CB remaining on their roster?
The Bears are going to be very bad this year.

On paper,  the Bears are clearly the 4th place team in the NFC North.  The question might become,  will the Bears be bad enough that they get the 2016 Draft resource to get their QB of the future?
By releasing Jennings and keeping Cutler, the Bears are in full tank mode.

Very possible. They just have the look of one of the teams that could have an absolute collapse this year.

The injury to Kevin White might have also contributed to the Bears looking to position themselves for 2016 and beyond.

Great point. Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up on the season ending IR at this point.

The Redskins come to mind as another team that could have an absolute collapse this year.     There's a very good chance both teams will have a new starting QB in place,  in 2016.

The one thing that could keep the Bears from hitting rock bottom if they choose not to is the experience / leadership of John Fox.

Thanks.

As much as it would benefit the Bears if Kevin White gains some game experience this year,  the most important thing for them is White's long term football health.
Surprised no one has suggested we pick him up yet.

He's better than Gratz, but otherwise, wouldn't make us that much better. Unless he can play safety.
I really do feel like the bears are just waiting to star fresh. I really liked Jennings, hope he finds a spot quickly.

At the very least,  it's hard to imagine the Cowboys not having serious interest in Tim Jennings.   If necessary,  Jennings probably could start opening day since he knows Rod Marinelli's system from their days in Chicago.
