Which would you prefer?
It looks like we've finally reached the modern NFL where NFL offenses put up 300 yards in a half while the defense struggles stopping the opposing team.
I'll take the offense - with an established QB.

We need a #1 WR, but the offense is closer than the defense from what the preseason has shown me
No doubt I'd pick the offense. That's how you win games.
I'd rather have a Broncos or Saints style offense that puts up a lot of points, then a defense that's great, but who's offense can't score. It's actually a lot harder to score points and play offense than it is to play defense. Many fans don't know how much work goes into each of these games.
I rather have a top 5 defense with aQB like Bortles.

Offense 100%. In today's COMPETITIVE (not a 2-14 team) you can't really stop anyone you just hope to slow them down or create a turnover. While our starting offense was on the field with those repetitive 80+ yard drives I almost forgot who we were playing because Stafford and company were rarely on the field.

Nahhh....I wanted him gone before he was injured. Not happy he's hurt. I will be happy when we pressure the QB.

You have to win games in order to get to a championship.
Offense for sure. Because it means we've found our QB. Much easier to improve a defense than it is to find a QB.
