We should play Parnell at RG.
Quote:Welcome to the board... This was a pretty good post, I agree with most of your points..People keep saying Coughlin like big backs, but he also like small ones too.. Remember Tiki Barber, that's why I wouldn't rule out Dalvin as the man in the driver seat as far as draft picks..

As far as Qbs,I believe one will be drafted within the top 5 rounds.. Keep your eye out for a guy named Jarod Evans out of VT. He is 6-4,235lb qb, runs a 4.6-4.7 40.. He threw over 3,000 yds with 29 TDs and 12 TDs rushings..I still believe Romo is an options as a free agent as well.. Bring him in and if he out plays Bortles he win the job..That simple..

The Wr position need somebody to pushed them to become better..I would look for them to draft a guy with speed like Stacey Coley out of Miami or maybe Ardarius Stewart from Alabama...Or bring in a free agent, like Brian Quick or hell just bring Walters back in...

I hope Julius Thomas stays, but if we can get a draft pick and or olineman for him I'm cool with that.

Either way, I can't wait to see ...

I think if Tom or Doug told Ar15 and Hurns shape up or we will replace ya. We will see the fire back in them.

You would think he could do it considering his mauler physique, but he's been our worst run blocker...even worse than Beachum was. At least according to yards per rush per direction.

I think he can be a good run blocking guard. Would cover up his lack of agility in the passing game too.

Again, it seems like he should be able to...but even you say it's just an "I think". He would be the 5th highest paid RG if we did that...why not just cut him and save that money and pay one of these FA maybe a tad more to be a guaranteed top RG?

Definitely!

I'm all for cutting him.
Lets find a player in the draft that can play Fullback and TE during certain play calls and save ourselves a pick or player......any names pop out.

Me too.
This guy is good. Welcome to the board and good call
Quote:Samaje Perine -  This is less of a prediction and more of a want, i personally like this guy he reminds me so much of MJD, if he falls into the second round and keeps falling we could trade back in to pick him up. Perine is a bowling ball like MJD, the similarities to MJD are amazing, i think the Jags should definitely give Perine a look. It all depends whom the Jags select before him.

(Leonard Fournette?) - Arguably the best running back in this class, big running back who punishes his defenders. If Myles Garrett and Jonathan Allen are off the board it wouldn't surprise me if the Jags drafted him.

Offensive Tackle:

Branden Albert - Large, veteran tackle. I think the Miami trade will happen sending Julius Thomas to them in exchange for Branden Albert. This guy is huge and a great run blocker and a good pass blocker, if he can stay healthy would be a good starting Left Tackle.

Ryan Ramczyk - Great tackle, could possibly fall to the second round for the Jaguars to pick up. Will compete in camp for both LT and RT. Most likely will be the starting RT going into Week 1.

you guys think. I would like to see some of your predictions. Cheers.

your MJD comp made me laugh, then I pulled up highlights and holy crap the dude looks like a clone

Fournette I like a lot even if we have to draft high

i think Albert is an upgrade if he can stay healthy.

I'd like to see us draft a tackle i'm not sure if your guy is the one but i want one drafted regardless.
nassib sucks. he's only got one throw, a line drive fast ball.

We had MOJO who was 5ft7?    Is there a height requirement for good rb?

Barry Sanders 5ft8

Payton was 5ft10

So I do not get the whole big backs?

No ..People just try to find a niche and run with it...

Very true. They also want us to draft the exact same back. We already have.
And he may mess up the cap again. But at least Jaguars football be exciting again!

I respect your opinion but you have got to take the rose-tinted glasses off. It is clear you like Dalvin Cook and yes there is a possibility we take him, there is also a possibility we take Fournette. Just try look at it from a non-biased perspective. I personally think Allen will fall to us and we will draft Allen at #4. I'm not trying to offend you in anyway i just would prefer if you were just slightly less biased. Cheers.
