I think it's another obvious ploy by the Cheatriots to get an unfair advantage. Can't deflate, time for another angle. I'm not the least bit surprised, I'm sure they already have backup plans to backup their backup plans

Meh. They should be more concerned about signing a decent CB in that shoddy backfield of theirs instead of signing a 36 year old broken down WR looking for that 1 last check to ride out in the sunset with.

They guy has earned the right to finish on his terms. He gave his body for his last team certainly no one should have a issue if he wants one more shot no matter the team.

It's hard to imagine any WR in NFL History playing with a better trio of QBs.

Only other player I can think of isn't even a receiver. Charles Haley. Dude won Super Bowls with Montana, Aikman, and Young. Legit company.

I was thinking of WRs but you provided an excellent overall example.
It was way overdue for Charles Haley to get into the HOF. I thought Haley was what swung the balance of power in the NFC/ NFL from the 49ers to the Cowboys. Jimmy Johnson was a master at making great trades.

Very good point.
Even though he was always "the enemy" I've always liked watching him play.

My impression of Reggie Wayne as a WR is that while he certainly had plenty of talent, their were many WRs with more talent than Wayne but never came close to having Wayne's career.
Though Wayne benefited from playing with great QBs the vast majority of his NFL career, what jumps out is Wayne's excellent work ethic and the precision of his game. Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne were on the same page and it benefited them and the Colts greatly.
Wayne's value to the Colts when they made the transition to Andrew Luck is something that's still paying dividends for Luck and the Colts, even though Wayne is gone.
