Kiss Rocker Gene Simmons’ House Raided for Child Porn—But Police Say He’s Not the Suspect…

Rocker Gene Simmons’ house was raided by Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force at 8am Thursday morning. The detectives seized several computers and other evidence.

However, strangely enough, TMZ reports that neither Gene nor anyone in his family is a suspect at this time.

Dammit, who let Peter Criss in?

Seriously though, they won't announce anything about a suspect until they arrest someone. The Simmons family is extremely wealthy, extremely high-profile and extremely high-ego, and if the feds were to come out and say that they were investigating person X then not file charges, they'd be sued until the country had to be renamed the United States of Gene.

Let's put the X in sex.....

Wait

You make me rock hard baby all night....

Oh, and wasn't that the same song? And am I the only person that thinks Kiss is/was a horrible band?

No. All of their songs are more or less about the same couple of topics (partying and sex), there's no substance or nuance to their lyrics, nothing exceptional about the music itself, the members of the band are marginal musicians at best by rock standards, they've been playing roughly the same setlist for the last 40 years, and their shows are a parody of actual concerts, impossible to sit through.

I think Kiss was more about teenage rebellion than being groundbreaking artists. They have some pretty good songs, but nothing you really feel like playing in your car or mp3..

I'm kind of embarrassed these days when I've got friends in the car and my iPod shuffles its way to a KISS song. I still have most of their discography from my college days, and have never bothered to delete it.
The genius in Kiss was the marketing.  Not the music.

<poops in pirkster's Kiss lunchbox>
Elitists!  Sure their musicianship was limited, their songs repetitive and occasionally boring, but so is most music in that genre!  Not every band can be Rush or Iron Maiden.

Let's demonize him and make him a bad guy like we did with the Subway guy... oh wait...

No, but it takes a special kind of "band" to be KISS Tongue
