Seriously?

Alrighty

Chad Henne is one of the better backup qb's in the league
Why cut Henne? You're just creating a hole in the roster by doing that.

Threw an incompletion. He's trash
As much heat he gets from this fanbase,, he is actually one of the best backups in the league.

(BACKUP, not starter)

No reason at all to let him go. When it comes time to re-sign him, if the price e is to steep for a backup, they'll most likely let him walk.

There's no reason to cut Henne. He is one of the best backup quarterbacks in the league, and if needed, he can fill a short term starting need. What he is doing for us is what Matt Moore is doing for the Dolphins, he is backing up the franchise quarterback giving them a safety net in case of injury, while also playing a role as a mentor. All that happens if we cut Henne is we leave a big void. Are Stephen Morrris or Jeff Tuel really good enough to backup Blake? Nope. So what we are doing is the right thing by keeping hold of Chad Henne.
He looked good.
Some of the posters are in mid-season form already.......

The Jags will cut Henne when they have a better backup QB. That's an easy one.
Who cares. It's all about Bortles.
It was mentioned how Chinny and blake have gotten pretty close last night... every time the camera was on them they looked like Bros and not two guys competing for the same job... i think they have a good thing going.
Why would we cut a very serviceable back-up who is not complaining about being a back-up? Who would you like us to take a chance on??????

the better question after last night is, If a starter on a contender goes down do we get a phone call?

OP's avatar goes well with his post.

Why do people always seem so eager to cut good experienced backups?  So we can sign somebody worse?  smh
