If you have great blocking most running backs should be able to get 3 yards on average, really good ones get you 4 yards or more, and fantastic ones average 5 or more per carry.

Gerhart had 6 touches for 43 yards and 3 first downs.  If he can average that over the season I'll be thrilled.
