It was a cheap shot low tackle at his knees. Who ever the defender was should be fined.

Seriously that's the worst part of preseason. So many injuries to the starters. On all teams. I mean Pitt even lost their kicker in the most pointless HOF game

This is nothing to be concerned about.


The opposite actually, it's a good thing, no chance for him to get hurt worse in meaningless games. He's a vet and has nothing to prove during preseason. As long as he is ready for reg season we will be fine.

He told Gus at halftime to just put a club on it and that he'd get out there. He's going to play week 1 and I can't wait. Panthers will have no film on him in our offense.

I don't think Thomas really needs the preseason reps anyway. He is a productive vet he knows what to do. Just glad it isn't worse or the lumbering giraffe will be starting.

There was bound to be a collision, but I think Blake could have helped him out a bit by leading him some.  Hope BB can take that next step and get his ball placement where he can help his guys avoid these types of things and increase their YAC.
