Winona Ryder Has Confirmed That 'Beetlejuice 2' Is in the Works
 

Winona Ryder confirmed on Monday that Beetlejuice 2 is, indeed, happening.

Ryder was only 17 years old (cast at 16) when the 1988 original was produced. Now 43, the star spilled the news on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

I'm intrigued.

Some things just need to be left alone. With that said, if they are going to make a sequel, I'm glad they are using original cast members.

I just want to know how many more remakes of Godzilla and King Kong can be done.

I hope they go with the original script written for a planned sequel that was never produced, :

Are they running out of good ideas in Hollywood? We're getting old enough that a lot of popular 80's movies are getting remade, Vacation, Beetlejuice, Poltergeist. If they start remaking John Hughes movies (breakfast club, pretty in pink), I'm putting my foot down!

I liked the original. But what was the last good thing that Tim Burton did?
