He gets picked off, then gets chippy after he gets stiff armed trying to make a tackle.

Note to Cam - try to tackle a DB after he intercepts you, and you just might get stiff armed.

The quotes that cam said makes me think even more so he's not the franchise QB that most make him out to be. When is he going to understand his role?


Rather than spending time working on the reason he got into this mess (throwing an interception) he is spending it defending his high octane attitude.

I hope Newton wants to fight Colvin, McCray or House.

I've never believed Cam was a franchise qb. Once he loses his legs, what will he be? He's a physical specimen for sure, but I just don't think he has the mind to be one of the elite. He might be a top 15 qb... maybe, but that is just based on the fact that he's 6-6, 250, and has Benjamin and Olsen to throw to.

Think about what you say. Do you know even how bad the talent has been on offence.One of the worst OL in football.Benjamin just got there last year.

He's a lesser talented Michael Vick, in a larger physical package.  Can do special things, but not a special player.

There are a lot of talented QBs out there. A lot of guys are physical beasts.

Jamarcus could fling the rock 100 yards.

 

Kap and Cam, mobile "playmakers"

 

Vick "fastest qb ever"

 

Problem with these types of flashy QBs is that they rely on their physical abilities too much. And for the most part miss the important factors between the ears.

 

That is what separates the elites. The mental makeup. The student of the game. The smarts. The wits.

Young, Aikman, Montana 

Luck, Rodgers, Brady, Manning

Brees, Rivers, Big Ben (though Big Ben is borderline, imo. He slings it with the best of him but if he was average size, he might just be an average QB)

For 59 years. Its funny you brought this up.When I moved here in 1984 everyone was Geogia.Then the Canes took over. Then Gators and now the Noles.Band wagon fans I cannot stand them.
