So what do you do about them? Many of those who will never stand for that are showing their true colors.

Fragmentation? Two-state solution?

Purge?

It is hard to imagine the US ever becoming a "terror state" when 96+% of people still have food on the table, running water, and a home.
However, if the daily lives of average individuals were to ever be severely interrupted, specifically those individuals who recognize that it's the left and their propaganda machine deliberately causing this chaos...oh boy.

I think it is getting real close to having to pull out the ol' sedition laws on some of these public agitators and deep state moles.
This is correct. The arab spring was not about democracy, it was about food. When you have a system on the edge, and it topples, its bad. Look at California. They wasted so much taxes on Bullet trains to no where and neglected important infrastructure like their dams. First they 'don't have water' then they have too much. What if that old not properly maintained dam bursts this weekend? Huge effect on California, and we would feel its ripples here even thanks to a large portion of our food being grown there.

Truckers go on strike over autonomous trucks, and watch the shelves empty. SF gets that huge earthquakes its overdue for... I mean there are a lot of scenarios that end up with people in the streets, especially in the big cities were large populations depend on food stamps and grocers. Obama didn't expand the FEMA camps for nothing. He knew if something went down, people would get rowdy fast, and he needed somewhere to 'put' them.

This is a pretty balanced view.   It's something to think about and be aware of.

My own reaction is, don't be a hypocrite.   The left attacks the leaks that helped bring down Hillary Clinton, while the right defends them as just exposing the truth.   Then the right attacks the leaks that helped bring down Michael Flynn, while the left defends them as just exposing the truth.   There's hypocrisy on all sides.   Meanwhile, our intelligence capabilities are so vast that nothing is secret any more, and selective leaking has become a major weapon in politics.

"Trump may want to change the subject, and his imprecations about the danger of leaks look a lot like the tears of a crocodile, but that doesn’t mean the questions he raises aren’t important."

Trump has set himself up in opposition to the intelligence community and the media, and together, those two entities have the capability to bring him down.   People on the left say, good, he needs to be stopped.   But what if it was the other way around?

Read the article before you comment.   It's something to think about- whether we really want the incredibly powerful intelligence community to take sides on political questions.

There's a difference between leaks from a hack by "who knows who" regarding the DNC given to Wikileaks and leaks coming from the intelligence community given to the press.

In both cases it's highly illegal and the perpetrators in both cases should be brought to justice.
I think we are seeing just the tip of the iceberg.  There's a lot going on, including a report that Obama installed new computers in the WH on Jan 1 and took the old ones to his nearby compound.  There's a rumor that Flynn's ouster was because of a phone call containing a list of DC pedophiles, one of whom was best buddies with Mike Pence.  Whether either of those is true, it's pretty obvious the Trump administration is completely surveilled and the owners of that data are ready and willing to weaponize it, even at high risk.  It's total war but 99% behind the scenes.  The 1% we can see is quite fascinating.  Trump is the first Prez since Kennedy trying to wrest power from the Deep State, yet most people here are caught in silly partisan loops and are blind to the actual unfolding history.  Assassination or impeachment is the goal, with Pence restoring power to the Globalists.

LOL.  We need to have some beers sometime.

Sounds good, we can fit a lot of beer in this particular rabbit hole.

I would rather deposit the beer in the hole underneath my nose.  You come up with some pretty good ones.

Exactly. Trump is legitimately an outsider. The Democrats obviously can't stand him but his party especially did everything in it's power to downplay him during the campaigning and election process. This was ultimately confirmed and validated when Mitt Romney came out publicly and voiced his opinion of the election and urged Republicans to not vote for him.

Prior to that there was an open letter roughly a year ago from prominent Republicans, in reality, Neoconservatives who denounced him. They even stated they'd lean towards Clinton over Trump if they had to choose. This was coming from the GOP National Security Experts. People who signed off on this open letter from the likes of the Bush Administration.

All Trump talked about was restoring our relationship with Israel, fixing the situation in Syria, eliminating ISIS and maintaining a good relationship with Russia to avoid another needless and mindless Cold War. And somehow he's the bad guy and he's the worst person to be in the office with launch codes next to him. Of course the movers and the shakers in the CIA and NSA don't want to hear this. The George Soros' of the world don't want to hear this.

War is profitable. And you need constant conflict and tensions in the air to vindicate our motives for spreading "freedom" and "democracy" while "defending" our "homeland" 1,000's of miles away in someone else's territory. That's been the most consistent formula in our country since the Woodrow Wilson administration. And you can link all of those "cause and effect" trigger events which got us into WWI, WWII, Vietnam and Iraq under very questionable and shady dealings and circumstances.

Trump truly is in danger of being killed or impeached because of his views on things. I said it in another thread. But, if Trump was politically crafted and polished from a public speaking stand point. And if he was able to properly communicate on certain social issues. He'd be the right winged version of John F. Kennedy. Kennedy's assassination was an in house decision.

He openly spoke out against secrecy. He believed in separation of church and state. He wanted to dismantle the CIA. And then years after his demise it was revealed that he turned down Operation Northwoods which clearly showed just how despicable our Industrial Military Complex was willing to go to push War for profiteering at the expense of false flag attacks on American soil against it's own citizens.

People should be outraged. Because if they were willing to do it then. You know damn well they're willing to do it now. They've already done it. It's no longer "tin foil" hat conspiracy talk when there's physical evidence and testimonies that clearly indicate foul play by our own Government. Like I said. I may not agree with everything Trump has said he'll do or has done. And I may not like some of his selections on his cabinet.

But, I think he's the first president we've had in decades where he offers some form of hope to the American people and to the people like me who have been on the fence their entire lives dying and looking for a legitimate alternative that turns the bought off Democrats with their Neoliberals and the Republicans with their die hard Neoconservatives completely upside down and on it's head.

That's why the intelligence communities and status quo from the left and right have it out for him BAD. A lot of people are losing money by the day as he continues to try to deliver on his talks and attempts on peace and resolution with all of the damages the past twenty some odd years of our administrations have committed on a global scale. He's never going to have a day's peace domestically as long as he's alive and kicking for the next four years.

But we should be genuinely concerned for his life. Because it's more than likely going to happen at some point. They're going to send somebody after him if he keeps throwing his weight around and doesn't want to play ball and play by their rules and terms. I, for one. Have been born and raised in a culture of fear. And, I am tired of it. I don't buy it anymore. And you're right. It's just the tip of the iceberg. But hopefully this is for the better.
