Quote:Maybe his wife likes a chubby Clemons. Playing weight at 250 is a little disconcerting.

aint that what all wives want?

Absolutely not. African and Caribbean women, generally, will tell you, "I want a bony man, I want a bony man". Big is not trendy in Europe either. It's an American thing matey.
My view on Clemons, hope he somehow gets this;

Just a guy, pedigree wise, statistically, reputationally, etc.

Surely, our franchise is a tad hungry now, so he makes 'headlines', but not even close to memorable, or impactful, in the true scheme of things.

And he knows that too, as well as that we may not be going anywhere imminently, so the motivation is contrived.

Just a guy.

Some can scream losing a starter...

Ryan Davis, D. Branch and Chris who, say what?

Ramble, ramble, ramble, but hopefully half categorical.

Hope it's not a grave deep situation, then I'll feel silly. But Gus, not known for Socratesism, expectedly revealed what's necessary; it's personal, not business. And we are the business side of the equation, so come or leave son. Just a guy.

Harsh, heartless, inhumane? Hardly. Only 37, both PhD parents in eternal slumber. Some know pain.

Go Jaguars.
He's there today. Our national nightmare is over.

I'd agree, being manly is very American.

So he was like 18 hours late and we saw this kind of reaction lol

Imagine if his flight was delayed and he was TWO days late!
So.... I gotta put out this burning torch or nah?

Whoosh
Looks like I won't be burning my Chris Clemons effigy.

You know the drill.

Keep it hot.  There's always something just around the corner to make it useful.
I'm going to jump to conclusions without knowing the facts and say this guy is a an early problem child. I think i'll fit in well around here!

Most american wives don't want fat men and most Caribbean women don't want bony men, matey.

Hopefully he's out on the field for practice starting tomorrow.
Does anyone have any news on Clemons? Did I hear Gus say something about not expecting him to play week 1?

Wouldn't be surprised if clemons is cut soon

Ryan O is calling for his head and I can't recall Gus doing anything other than pumping the brakes on that sentiment.

I haven't seen anything about week 1 mentioned anywhere, perhaps it was regarding the first preseason game?

Yeah, it was the first preseason game that Gus called his availability for into question, not week one.
