For me, my five teams are:

#1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers- The Bucs have been improving a lot lately; especially with playmakers like Evans and Gerald McCoy. It all depends on the development of their QB position and the improvement of the secondary. With all the other teams in the NFC South restructuring their teams, they could have the opportunity to capture the division crown.

#2 Buffalo Bills- The Bills had the 2nd best defense in the league last year and are set to be an even better team this year than last year with Rex Ryan. The QB position is the biggest thing that is holding the Bills back from making a playoff push.

#3 Miami Dolphins- Ndamukong Suh. Enough has been said.

#4 Oakland Raiders- They've made great strides on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball with guys like Derek Carr, Khalil Mack, and now Amari Cooper. It wouldn't surprise me if they won a wild-card spot this season.

#5 Minnesota Vikings- A lot of young upstart talent on this team, combined with an angry Adrian Peterson who's seeking redemption, could make them very dangerous.

#1. San Diego Chargers

Peyton Manning is on the slide, and the Chargers are getting better.  With a shiny new running back, they stand a chance to take the division, or at least challenge for a wild card spot.  Phillip Rivers still has it too.

#2. New Orleans Saints

The NFC South is up for grabs.

#3. Atlanta Falcons

The NFC South is up for grabs, and a new coach may just be what the doctor ordered in Atlanta.

#4. New York Giants

Coughlin may have calls for his head... which could mean good things for the Giants.  The Cowboys lost Murray, and the Eagles have... Sam Bradford?  And the Deadskins are still the Deadskins

#5. Jacksonville Jaguars

Obligatory fan pick.  But if Bortles becomes good, and Yeldon can get our running game started, our defense steps up, and Wisnewski boosts our o-line not to mention experience for our receivers, anything is possible.

i like this list
The Vikings have me concerned,   They are building a strong Defense on all 3 levels and Mike Zimmer has a tremendous track record as a Defensive Coach.    If Adrian Peterson hits the ground running despite being 30 and not playing the vast majority of last season,   Teddy Bridgewater in his 2nd season should be in many more favorable situations than as a rookie when the Vikings running game wasn't respected for the most part.

Their biggest problem (other than being in the NFC North with the Packers) might be their offensive line. But Bridgewater and AP are a frightening combo nevertheless.

My five would be...

Vikings (although they''ll have to do it the hard way because they're unlikely to win their division)

Eagles. They were good enough to make the playoffs last season and if Bradford stays fit they have a good chance of winning their division.

Dolphins. Their strong defense is even stronger and Tannehill's offense looks better too. They'll edge out the Bills for second spot in their division.

Chargers. No one outstanding teams in the AFC West and Gordon could make a big difference.

Rams. Strong defense. Let's see what they can do with a healthy QB and an exciting RB. Could finish above the self destructing 49ers and the Cardinals have shown they're not as strong without their fragile QB.
Rams: They are always my pick to make something happen and they fail every year.... maybe this year they can do something.

Vikings: AP/Teddy and that D should make this team fun to watch as long as they stay healthy, but the Packers still are number 1.

Raiders: They have a better chance to go from worst to first than most think IMO. Murry looked pretty good late last season, add in WR now.

Dolphins: That D might become something scary this season and Tannehill should improve but this is the one I have more issues with but not sure why.

Jaguars: Hey.... I have to.... I have faith.... I need to Believe. Please....

Cant argue those picks. But Falcons may replace either the Rams or Vikings.
Bucs, Phins, Saints, Vikes, Rams

I can't quite throw the Jags out there... I do think we'll be much improved... but in the 8 win area.

I put the Bucs and Saints because their division is so up and down

But with better QB play for the Bucs they weren't terrible last year, despite a terrible record.

And with Brees and a somewhat weak NFCS, the Saints have a chance every season.

Phins are slowly becoming pretty darn good. I suspect the days of the Pats trouncing the entire AFCE are about over.

I don't think they are quite there to take the division, but could push for it.

Vikes with AP and an overall outside shot in an NFC that features a few great teams and a lot of pretty good ones that make the last few weeks of the regular season interesting.

Rams pretty much the same, except this D is legit, they have some weapons... and maybe, just maybe they have a QB that can at least get em there.
The AFC gets rather boring, considering the same few teams seriously contend for playoff spots. I don't expect much difference this season.

Colts (home playoff game lock already)

Patriots

Broncos

Ravens/Bengals/Steelers

Chargers

Chiefs

Dolphins

Texans
I think the Rams are my number 1. Foles I think the most underrated QB in the league with Gurley will change that offense around along with that nasty young D that will be even better

1.  Tampa...I'm not sure how much they've improved, but I will say this:  if Winston has his head on straight, he has plenty of receiving talent around him with the Evans kid, Vincent Jackson, and the young TE ASJ to have a very productive rookie year.

2.  I think this is the year Buffalo breaks through-though I said that last year too.   But I hope not,  I would never hear the end of it from my buddy who is an obnoxious Bills fan.

3.  From what I read about Miami's cap situation in the aftermath of the Suh deal is true, Miami will have to win now, because it won't be likely in the future.

4.  Oakland...they are adding star caliber talent in Cooper, Mack, and possibly Carr, but still needs to fill in the blanks around them.  Not sold on Donald Penn as their LT, or with anyone they have at RB.

5.  Minnesota-Bridgewater will benefit greatly from APs return.
Vikings, Saints, Eagles, Chargers, and Fins.

Jags, Jags, Jags, Jags, and Jags.

On paper,  the Vikings Offensive Line looks like their greatest question mark.   Other than with steady / reliable C John Sullivan,  the Vikings remainder of their Offensive Line is a question mark for one reason or another.   If enough of the answers are answered in a positive manner for them,   they could easily be in the playoffs and might even advance in the playoffs.

The Chargers and Rams both have playoff potential.   The # 1 question with both of those teams is how much will the distraction of them possibly ending up in Los Angeles in 2016 negatively impact them?    The Rams will probably be playing in front of small crowds for many of their home games.
Vikings

Jets

Bills

Falcons

Raiders
Five teams that make the play-offs this year that didn't make it last year? I think that's pushing it a bit too much. I'd say maybe three teams in total but other than that I think you'll see the same teams.

1. New York Giants

2. St. Louis Rams

3. New Orleans Saints

4. Miami Dolphins

5. Chicago Bears

I could see every one of those teams except Chicago.

Their defense last year was horrible, and for the first time in franchise history, they are switching to a 3-4.  It is going to take a while to make the transition.

On top of that, they are in a tough division with Green Bay (perhaps the NFC favorite to reach the Super Bowl), Detroit (with an ultra explosive offense), and Minnesota, with a good young QB in Bridgewater and AP returning.
