This is great news.
Actually this is the best news of the dead zone!
That must mean he's at 91%.
I hope so, but I certainly don't expect to him to step on the field and play like he did last season. He was a monster out there, but I find it hard to believe a 300 pound guy can come back from a serious knee injury within a year and continue dominating where he left off. Hes an awesome dude, Im hoping for the best for him.
Boo! They're rushing him back then he'll be sidelined for the season. Sub-500, here we come
He'll need to be eased back in, not just put out there for 95% of the snaps in week one. I'm thinking Odrick and Hood or Bennett (not sure both make the team) will have big roles there for the first several games.
Last report said he was a mutant healing up way ahead of schedule. I see this as a ploy to skip the riggors and heat of training camp. jk.
What did you guys think of the video?
Was anyone else holding their breath watching that?
^^^^^ To be honest, yes. I was.
Hopefully no set backs because we will need him on our defense vs Cam Newton.
I expect him to play vs Carolina. I don't expect him to play much, but I think he'll play nonetheless.

90.816254% to be exact, but who's counting?
No reason to rush him back before he is 100%. yea it would be great, but no reason to risk it over a few games or even half a season. At the end of the day, he isn't a QB so his importance in the grand scheme of things isnt that much. Hopefully we dont push him too fast.
I don't get where 'they' are rushing him. I certainly don't see it anywhere in that link. If HE says he's ready, his doctors medically clear him, and he wants to play...the team is supposed to say no?
Don't get me wrong, Marks will still be an effective player when he returns this year, but I don't think we should expect him to return to form until next season.
A good comparison is Geno Atkins for the Bengals, tore his knee up late in the season two years ago and wasn't the same player the following season before bouncing back in 2014. Atkins and Marks are similar players; explosive interior DL who blow up plays with their speed and quickness.
I think 2016, with Marks 100% and Fowler coming back, will be the year we see our defense truly break out.
