Haven't seen this posted anywhere else yet. If true, one of the NFL's great gunslinger QBs has left us.
The Tuscaloosa newspaper that reported Stabler's death has since retracted the article and said that Stabler's death is "unconfirmed".
The Snake just got Bradshawed.
It's on NFL.com now, sad. RIP snake.
Man he was fun to watch.

The guy was clutch coming down the stretch in a game. Always fun to watch. RIP.
Real sad to hear. I hope the HOF reconsiders adding him. The way John Madden talks about him, Ken Stabler must have been a helluva qb.
You never counted the Raiders out as long as Stabler was on the field and the game was within reach. A marvelous clutch QB.
