The Eagles top the list as most healthy and the Giants lead the league as most often injured. I guess this will debunk the myth that the Jaguars are the most unlucky team when it comes to injuries.

Seems to be a pretty even number as it goes down. Outside of the top 3 and bottom 5ish
What are these stats? We all know injuries only happen to Jags
I knew the Colts, Chargers, and Giants were at the bottom, didn't know that the Eagles were first.
Every team is going to have injuries but its the importance of the injured player is what really needs to be paid attention to..
Hate to say it, but I'd rather have Joey Bagadonuts go down with a hammy than a starter on the line somewhere..
How many starters have we lost during the season for the last couple of years?

From the article:
Quote:With Football Outsiders' Adjusted Games Lost (AGL) metric, we are able to quantify how much teams were affected by injuries based on two principles: (1) Injuries to starters, injury replacements and important situational reserves matter more than injuries to bench warmers; and (2) Injured players who do take the field are usually playing with reduced ability, which is why Adjusted Games Lost is based not strictly on whether the player is active for the game or not, but instead is based on the player's listed status that week (IR/PUP, out, doubtful, questionable or probable).
Between the off-season torn pectoral muscle injury to LT Will Beatty that will keep him sidelined most, if not all of the 2015 season, and the JPP fireworks accident, the Giants are well on their way to being the most injured NFL team for a 3rd straight season.

It would be interesting to see the data from the 2012 season. That season, I recall the Eagles being decimated with injuries on their Offensive Line. That likely contributed greatly to the Andy Reid era coming to an end.
