Can you give a break down to what these numbers are? I am interested in Scobee's numbers.

Thanks
I'd guess:

Age, years pro, total years on current contract, total contract value, signing bonus (not present on all players), current year salary, contract expiration year
Josh Scobee - Maybe...I dont blame him for our recent ST fails

Chad Henne -  Depends on if he wants a starting gig. Team will want him back for super cheap.

Andre Branch - Cheap or gone

Clay Harbor - Cheap or gone

Bryan Anger - Only if the deal is right

Bernard Pierce - Nope

Marcedes Lewis - Nope

Stefen Wisniewski - Dont know enough about to comment

Sam Young - Yes

John Lotulelei - Nope

Tandon Doss - Depends on this year

Laroy Reynolds - Yes

Carson Tinker - Nope

Abry Jones - Yes

Tommie Campbell - No

Matt Daniels  - no

Jeremiah George - no

Nic Jacobs - no

Khairi Fortt - no

Austin Pasztor - Good depth, Yes.

Ryan Davis - Absolutely

bingo
One revision: current year salary is actually current year salary cap hit. Otherwise, how could Henne have a $4.5M salary this year with a $4M signing bonus on a two-year deal worth only $8M?

Ryan Davis is a definite as I expect a big year from him. I also expect Wisniewski to play well, if healthy, and remain on the roster after this year.

Abry Jones and Pasztor are solid reserves and should be resigned for reasonable deal.

I love Henne as a backup who is content with that role and can come in and win a few games if necessary.

I have seen very little in Branch and expect this to be his last season as a Jag.

Chad Henne QB 29 7 2 yr $8,000,000 $4,000,000 $4,500,000 2016   (Depends on $$ amount…I can see

Andre Branch DE 25 3 4 yr $5,089,934 $1,272,484 $3,153,129 2016  (Much like Alualu I think he will resign to reasonable contract…he has a role in the D)

Clay Harbor TE 27 5 2 yr $3,000,000 $1,500,000 $1,450,000 2016 (Depends on how Koyack/Sterling pan out)

Bernard Pierce RB 25 3 4 yr $2,655,944 $663,986 $555,944 2016  (Negative)

Marcedes Lewis TE 31 9 1 yr $2,650,000 $2,650,000 $2,150,000 2016 (Negative unless its another very team friendly deal)

Stefen Wisniewski C 26 4 1 yr $2,500,000 $2,500,000 $1,750,000 2016  (Our next Marks type contract…thing he proves it and signs a nice new deal)

Those with no comment it all depends on cheap price/depth issues
wiz branch jones, maybe henne

Pretty much this + Ryan Davis.
Interesting.  Really good info.  Where did you find this info?

To answer the question a lot depends on how they play this year.  Not all of those listed will make the 53 man roster in 2015.

Scobee, Anger, Tinker, Henne, Branch, Reynolds, Jones, George, Jacobs, Pasztor, Davis.  The backup LB, Reynolds and George, are questionable, but are probable for special teams.  Branch may depend on what the team does with Clemons and Chris Smith, and also how well Fowler recovers.  The team could also be outbid for Branch's services if he has a good year.

Right after I posted this I remembered that Dave Caldwell said he is going to be very active in FA next year.  What he does in FA will definitely affect this list.  Also I think Tuel has a chance to be the backup QB next year especially if he spends this year on the practice squad.  That, of course, would mean the team would not extend Henne's deal.

We are getting a lot of value in Ryan Davis.
Branch, Davis, Anger, Scobee, Wiz, Lewis or Harbor
Josh Scobee ...resign

Chad Henne ...resign, knows system, no 3rd string pushing him for backup job

Andre Branch ...expendable with Fowler, sign more elsewhere

Clay Harbor ...cheap resign and Thomas backup

Bryan Anger ...resign

Bernard Pierce ...gone

Marcedes Lewis ...gone

Stefen Wisniewski ...young, experienced, knows system, likely resigned if shoulder is healthy

Sam Young ...gone

John Lotulelei ...gone

Tandon Doss ...gone

Laroy Reynolds ...gone unless has strong ST success this year

Carson Tinker ...resign

Abry Jones ...resign, better than most realize

Tommie Campbell ...gone

Matt Daniels ...gone

Jeremiah George ...gone

Nic Jacobs ...gone

Khairi Fortt ...gone

Austin Pasztor ...resign as active day swing role

Ryan Davis ...resign, however another team may pay him to leave

Question about Anger. Assuming he's the highest drafted punter in the league? You get paid, per your draft position, right? So is he one of the highest paid punters (factoring re-signed vets)?
Quote:Pretty much this + Ryan Davis.

Yeah, I forgot Davis.  I like him and Branch a lot going into this year.  Hopefully we can get one of them done early in the season before they put up big numbers.
Since there are only three guys on that list 29 years of age or older, I really doubt any will resign.

I do think 7 or 8 of the players on that list that play well in 2015 will re-sign with the Jags.

Haha, i was about to post something similiar in regards to resign/re-sign.

I think this will be a great thread for next offseason.  A LOT can change over the course of a season, hopefully in a positive direction.

That only applies to rookie contracts. There are veteran punters out there who make much more than Anger does.
