You're saying that won't help us win 2 more games, which BTW would have put us out of the top 5 this past draft and we were a couple bad bounces away from winning those this past year.

We get it, you clearly are pessimistic (not a realist) and don't seem much of a fan at all. But you're wrong.

Ok I see, so if I say mean things about the jags I'm considered a troll and not a fan? Apparently wearing teal shades and swallowing Gus's juice is something you're an expert with.

I don't think he's necessarily a troll for thinking the team will be bad, the team was bad last year, and it's not like we were the only team that was invited to the draft and free agency.  

 

Then again I'm actually pretty optimistic about this season, which is a complete 180 from how I felt going into the past 4.

Looking at this off season and saying there was no progress made is either trolling or stupidity. I'm betting the former just to be nice.

There's no way of knowing progress was actually made until they play.  I'm not saying I actually agree with him (assuming) on his assessment, I'm just saying just because he thinks a bad team still has the chance of being bad doesn't make him a troll.

At the same time, there is no way one can justify making definitive statements about the lack of progress considering the major investment made in this roster over the offseason. There is no basis for his commentary other than rubbing into our face the lack of success in past seasons. The lack of success combined with major upgrades should lead to the conclusion that it would be almost impossible for some sort of progress not to be made, but that would defeat the purpose of his posts.

Of course the Jags have made some progress but so has every team around the league. I just don't think the progress they gained will enough to get us out the top 5 discussion this year. Do you think the Jags are the only team trying to get better while the rest of the league is just sitting on their hands?

Not every team in the league is in the position to make progress.

 

Age and lack of cap space catches up to many teams. Just look at the 49ers. They most definitely aren't progressing.

 

Fortunately, we aren't faced with either of those challenges.

Let me ask you this. If the Jags were playing the Bucs would the Jags have found the same success as the Tacks?? Would Blake have put up 4 TD's?
