German man takes revenge on ex-wife by sawing everything they own in half, selling it on eBay

Everybody handles breakups differently, and a German man has found a hilarious (albeit demented) out-of-the-box way to express his anger with his ex-wife. The two have been together for 12 years before splitting up, so the handy man took it upon itself to split in half everything they owned with help of a saw and other power tools. And then put his share up for sale on eBay.

Well, maybe half of it....and half a chair.
Maybe its just me but I would've just sold it on eBay instead of destroying it then selling it. But to each his own.
Been saying it for years, and it's still true.

Spite is a bad business model.

Wasn't that a Lexus commercial years back? Dude saws everything in half but stops when he gets to the Lexus.
Maybe he can sell it as Divorce Art, you know those art snobs will buy anything :teehee:

I'm pretty sure he wasn't concerned about selling the items or the money he'd get in doing so.  This guy was making a statement.

No doubt, half an Opel could be turned into a lovely conversation piece as a sofa.
I don't understand being so bitter. Someone doesn't want you anymore, or you don't want them...move on. Life is to short to be bitter like that.
That effort was half-arsed

So that's where Willy Wonka found all that stuff.

Well, to be fair, if it was a she doesn't want him situation, a lot depends on how she conveyed that message.

If she simply walked out and said she couldn't take it any longer, filing for divorce, yeah, I can see your point.

If she invited all of her husbands co-workers, siblings, or a host of random guys (and gals...need to be inclusive these days) back to the house for a free-for-all with the expectation that her husband would walk in on the action and decide he'd had enough, then maybe that might explain his approach.
