if you made a team up of the best (current) AFC South players, who would you select ?
I guess Luck would be QB and you'd be foolish if you didn't want Watt, but most of the other positions are wide open... How many Jaguars would make the team ?
ARob, Yeldon (behind Foster), Thomas, Linder, Marks, Colvin, McCray, Poz, Telvin... Probably a couple more

I think that might look a bit different this season.
I think Yeldon might stand a chance, because it's not a great division for running backs at the moment.
I'd also take Linder, Marks, Odrick, Thomas and Colvin. There may be an argument for someone like ARob too.

It should look a bit different post draft/fa. Let alone after this season

I thought I made some questionable decisions for the all AFC-South team. No spirited debate from our resident colts, texans, and tacks fans?
Not really in the mood for a spirited debate, but as far as the Titans go, it's hard for me to imagine Orakpo and Wright not making the list somewhere. All the same, hard to imagine that Levitre and Warmack do make the list.
And here is the NFL-dot-com list in full.
My first thought is that the Titans have done well to get five players in this list ! (Although you could argue Lewan should be in there too)
And I think Telvin and Odrick would have a good case to be included for the Jaguars.

I am a homer, but I tried hard to not make it all Jaguar players...
I picked the elite super star of each team in purple
based on obvious reasons to date. The Jaguars don't truly have an elite player but I picked Thomas for being the highest paid Free Agent in the league.
A couple things I noticed when creating this post is that the AFC South doesnt have a good Center, RT Parnell has the most potential of being good compared to the rest of the RT in the AFC South based on what he had done in Dallas the coaching there and the coaching he'll get this year. I was wrong about Linder he has ProBowl potential this season. Although I have Zane Beadles as a backup I think he's might get cut before the start of the season (maybe not due to depth issues but he has to prove himself this year). I think too many fans think very low of Cecil but I think he'll do good in Texas this year. Everyone is hating on Poz but I still love watching that guy play, he's tough like JJ Watt. I think Grant will be the best HB in the AFC South by the end of the season. I put Lee up there (homer) but Im really wondering if he'll do anything this year. I think Telvin Smith is going to shock the world more than he did last season. The AFC South doesnt have a lot of great guys at RE, I think Fowler will be that guy if he does good next year.

Whoa. Mariota over Bortles? Grant over Denard, Gore, or even Gerhart? Lester and McAffe are better punters than Anger. I think Greene is more of a slot receiver.
Also I don't think Thomas is a highest paid free agent in the league. TE sure. But he's getting paid half of what Suh is getting.
Levitre plays for the Titans, and he's been a human turnstile so far. So overpaid.
As far as centers go, I like the Titans' Schwenke (say it out loud). Him and Lewan were the only bright spots on the O-Line last season. Kid has to stay on the field though.
I don't see how one of these lists can be made without Jurrell Casey. Dude is a monster
Levitre and Warmack are garbage. I don't believe there is a worse combo of starting guards anywhere in the NFL. Warmack may be the worst of them all.

I didn't realize how bad they were. I thought they were holding their own, if not above average. How can that offensive line be so bad with so much potential and HOF offensive linemen as coaches?

There's this old saying about the ingredient requirements for Chicken Salad.

Warmack was a top 10 pick IIRC and Levitre was a prized free agent. Good for us he's turned out worse than Beadles.
.
As always, fun to watch the tacks fail:

I find it funny that a guy who hasn't even played his first snap yet ends up on the All-AFC South team.
