The NFLPA really needs to get rid of these "voluntary" workouts next CBA or just make them all mandatory.

Why was there any news in the first place.... it was voluntary. Now he's coming to work like the other millions of americans.

If you cut the guy for missing voluntary minicamp, you get all tangled up with a union complaint.   If you really want to cut the guy for missing voluntary minicamp, then you have to let him come in and act like you're cutting him because he's not good enough any more.

All the hand wringing will need to be focused elsewhere now. 

I like Ryan O, you just have to understand he subscribes to the there is no bad publicity theory.


That being said, I think he provides the most detailed information of all the beat writers by far.
