First off, I just wanna say how happy I am with my new purchase. Listening to some of your opinions really helped out tons, so I have a follow up question now..

Soundbar vs Home Theater.. The sound kinda sucks on these types of TV's so I'm looking for something better. I've heard some people say that soundbars suck, some say awesome (lack of wires ect).. Looking for opinions on specific kinds too.. Soundbar or Home Theater?
The system below works really well.

I have both. I have a sound bar in my man cave which is perfect based on the size of the room. I added a woofer to it and it sounds amazing. I have a surround sound set up in the main room which is Bluetooth so no wires. Each have their pros and cons. It really depends on the size and set up of the room. The best system will sound like crap if not set up and positioned properly.
Sonos.

This.

While it isn't a cheap option, the Sonos soundbar and sub setup is pretty incredible.
We got my son one of those Vizio sound bars with the woofer thing and it has two speakers that goes behind you...it's pretty awesome sounding.
We've got the Sonos sound bar with a sub one one of our TVs, and the sound is terrific, and you don't have speakers all over the place.

I have this awesome entertainment system called my house window, the graphics are so realistic you think you can almost reach out and touch them but then you would hurt your hand on the glass.  The channel selection is horrible at the moment, and the game play can be rather slow (usually only works on voice commands that you have to yell really loud and sometimes the police come due to the screaming).  The best part is no monthly subscribtions or hidden fees, (except the police noise fines).

Soundbar all the way with a subwoofer. You can add additional speakers to make it more like a home-theater system around your house.

It rattles the walls of our house with thundering sound like the movie theaters.

My products are all Sony and I had thoroughly researched and experienced many different systems like Sonos, Bose, etc...

With these any of these systems, placement around your room/house is key. Deadspace can significantly diminish the quality of the sound no matter the brand.

Let me know if you want more info.

I have a surround sound 5.1 system in my man cave with a ceiling mounted HD projector. It is a 1000 Watt system and will make the blackout curtains quiver. But, I'm on my 3rd system in 5 years. Up to this point the reliability has been poor.

I'm not surprised.
